AiAi Delas Alas confirms Gerald Sibayan's Green card got revoked

Comedy Concert Queen AiAi Delas Alas has confirmed the news regarding the cancelation of Gerald Sibayan's U.S. Green Card petition.
The Kapuso comedienne officially addressed the circulating reports on her Facebook page. She confirmed, “OPO, totoo ito. Salamat sa mga sumuporta.”
She went on to express gratitude to those who stood by her during this challenging period.
"Through the darkest moments, when I felt abandoned and alone, God has been my constant source of strength and comfort. His grace has helped me cope with the pain, giving me the courage to keep going, one day at a time. Thank you, Lord, for never leaving my side," she wrote. " Sa aking good son salamat hindi mo ako iniwan at sa mga kaibigan kong hindi din ako iniwan, God bless you all."
Fans and friends flooded the comment section with messages of encouragement. Most even commended the Kapuso star for her strength and wise decision.
Reports recently confirmed that Gerald Sibayan's petition for permanent residency in the U.S. has been revoked by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Based on official documents, the USCIS granted AiAi's appeal to cancel the Petition for Alien Relative for her former husband. The decision was signed on March 17, 2025.
“After a thorough review of your petition and the record of evidence, we must inform you that the approval of your petition has been automatically revoked," it stated.
Last November, AiAi first confirmed her split from Gerald in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. She revealed that not having a child played a significant role in their separation and hinted at a possible third party, though she lacked solid evidence.
"It doesn't matter naman kung meron o wala na kasi nu'ng sinabi niya na firm na siya sa decision, wala naman na 'kong ilalaban, 'di ba? 'Pag lumaban pa kasi ako, kunyari nag-stay ako, parang alam ko naman 'yung magiging ending e. 'Yung dignity ko ba and 'yung self-worth ko, mawawala na 'yun e. Magtira naman ako kasi alam ko na mangyayari ulit 'yun,” she said.
