Akon uplifts Manila hip-hop scene with OPM, K-pop stars at the 'The Superfan Tour'

After 15 years, American superstar Akon finally came back to the Philippines. This time, he was joined by an amazing set of artists for “V1BE Manila 2024,” headlined by his “The Superfan Tour,” held this Tuesday, December 3, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Akon, together with Ez Mil, Gloc 9, Flow G, Lucas, Pablo, Dappest X Adl, Legit Misfitz, Chocolate Factory, and DJ Kate Jagdon delivered the “grandest hip-hop experience” to thousands of Filipino fans and turned “The Superfan Tour” into a celebration of music, culture, and love.
During his set, Akon was over the moon and showed how it is to love and pay homage to his culture.
“Everyone got one percent in their bodies that goes back to the Motherland (Africa), so I see all of you as family,” said Akon to Filipino fans.
