Alden Richards wore a dapper suit sourced from Africa for GMA Gala 2023

GMA Gala 2023 has finally commenced and one of the most dapper celebrities to grace the highly-anticipated event is Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
The Sparkle star turned heads and captivated everyone's attention with his monochromatic ensemble which comprised a white jacket suit from designer label Louis Vuitton and a pair of black trousers. For his accessories, Alden kept it sleek and subtle with his watch from Patek Philippe and a silver brooch on his collar.
Alden was styled by fashion stylist Melville Sy and the rest of the Studio 24C team while his dapper hairstyle was done by Nelson Cruz and Vicson Andrei Santos. To add to that, his glowing handsome face was prepped by professional make-up artist Steven Doloso.
Alden has always shined bright on red carpets because he and his team make sure he brings his A-game. And by that we mean, they really go the extra mile to ensure that he looks his best.
In an interview on the red carpet with Sparkle stars Martin Javier and Rain Matienzo, Alden dissected his outfit and revealed that it wasn't easy for him and his team to get ahold of his suit.
He shared, “Yung last year kasi I went too classic formal that was the Tom Ford suit. This is Louis Vuitton [pointing to his outfit], medyo naging mahirap yung sourcing nya. Special shoutout sa team ko who made this possible of course, Studio 24C, Mely and team, Nelson Cruz, and Steven Veloso.”
“Si Mel my stylist wanted to do something different tonight para medyo bali doon sa last year. Ako naman wala naman akong arte sa damit kung ano lang ipasuot laban na, tuloy na natin yun,” he humbly says.
“Actually, when they sourced this wala sa Hong Kong, sa Japan, sa Paris, sa U.S., sa Dubai. All the areas hinanapan ni Mel and we only found it sa Zimbabwe, Africa. Dun namin siya nabingwit. It had to go and fly from Africa to London, London to Hong Kong, and Hong Kong to here,” Alden finally admits.
It is worth noting that Alden revealed he had to wait for six months before his outfit for GMA Gala 2023 arrived. Well, all the waiting obviously paid off as Alden once again cemented his stance as one of the most stylish celebrities of this generation.
He even won the Sparkle Star Of The Night award at the GMA Gala 2023 alongside international fashion and style icon Heart Evangelista. Congratulations, Alden!
