Alex Calleja explains the joke stealing controversy on 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda'

The past few weeks have certainly been eventful for actor-host Alex Calleja.
After releasing his Tamang Panahon comedy special earlier this month, Alex saw it reach the number one spot on the streaming giant, a first for a Filipino comedian and an amazing feat. Less than a week ago, he made a visit to It's Showtime and recalled all the milestones in his career that happened on the noontime show.
It hasn't all been smooth sailing though. Along with the sudden popularity was an accusation from writer Chito Francisco that Alex stole a car wash joke from him, leading to Alex having to clarify that he had already told the car wash joke years earlier. Chito would eventually issue an apology and Alex would accept it and move on.
