Allen Ansay breaks silence on Sofia Pablo rumors: 'Wala pong iniwan, nagpaasa, o nang-bale-wala'

Sparkle actor Allen Ansay addressed growing speculation online after a TikTok video compared his recent social media posts with Sofia's updates, many of which featured her fellow Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate, Iñigo Jose.

In a comment on the video, Allen clarified that there is no conflict between him and Sofia and that fans should refrain from creating false narratives about their relationship.
“Wala pong iniwan, nagpaasa, o nang-bale-wala sa kahit kanino,” Allen wrote.
He also revealed that his long-standing courtship of Sofia had actually ended months ago.
“Para na rin po sa tamang impormasyon, matagal na pong hindi naipagpatuloy ang panliligaw ko kay Sofia noong March pa po,” he explained.
According to Allen, their decision was mutual and rooted in changing priorities, particularly regarding their careers. He emphasized that they remained respectful of one another and chose not to publicly discuss the matter because it was personal.
Allen also came to Sofia's defense, urging supporters to stop blaming the actress for the situation.
“Sana po ay tigilan na natin ang pagpapakalat ng mga maling kuwento o false narratives tungkol kay Sofia. Wala po siyang ginawang masama,” he said.
For years, fans have followed the close bond between Allen and Sofia, who often described their connection as a special friendship. Allen had openly expressed his intentions of courting the actress, and earlier this year, the pair even celebrated Valentine's Day with a beach date.
In February, Sofia shared that she was “single but unavailable,” further fueling interest in their status.
The conversation surrounding the pair resurfaced during Sofia's stint inside the Pinoy Big Brother house. There, Iñigo Jose admitted he was attracted to Sofia, although he later shared that certain differences between them made him reconsider his feelings. Sofia, meanwhile, became emotional as she recalled a promise she had made to Allen before entering the competition, that she would not pursue a romantic connection with anyone else inside the house.
When Sofia was eventually evicted, Allen was among those who welcomed her back outside, saying he was deeply touched by her loyalty.
Despite recent speculation, Allen's latest statement makes it clear that there was no dramatic fallout between them, only a private decision that both sides chose to handle respectfully.
Earlier this year, the former on-screen partners starred together in the GMA Pictures horror film Huwag Kang Titingin. More recently, Sofia and Iñigo were seen collaborating on a charity event, prompting renewed discussion among fans.
With Allen now addressing the issue directly, he hopes the focus can shift away from rumors and toward supporting everyone involved.
