This unveiling comes shortly after her major professional move. Her transition signals a desire to take on bolder paths, including her upcoming first lead movie.
In a recent interview, Andrea spoke candidly about embracing roles that reflect her growth as an actress and as a woman. She shared how she's been intentionally pursuing more mature, comedic, and action-driven projects.
Responding to questions about evolving from a child star to a more mature public figure, she said, "Well, it feels empowering definitely but sometimes it kinda feels weird sometimes kasi lahat sila nakitang bagets ako e tapos ngayon ganito na 'yung get up ko. Pero in a way it feels empowering for me kasi I like to shock people. I like to keep them guessing kung ano ang next kong gagawin. It feels amazing, it feels good na nakita nila akong bagets at ngayon nakikita na nila ako as a woman. And now, I'm more intentional with what I do and I'm more confident with what I want to do with my career. Mas in control na ako with my career, so hindi na siya about proving anything. It's more about enjoying where I am."
Andrea first caught mainstream attention as the fierce Marga in Kadenang Ginto, later expanding her repertoire through youth-oriented series such as Senior High and High Street. She has also appeared in several notable films including Crazy Beautiful You, Everyday I Love You, and On the Job: The Missing 8.
