Unang Hirit host Anjo Pertierra is officially engaged to his girlfriend and singer Eunice Jorge!
The couple shared their magical moment on Instagram, posting their sweet photo and heart-fluttering video of the proposal. Eunice was visibly surprised when the weatherman popped the question during a musical event.
"I said an explosive YES," Eunice joyfully wrote in her caption.
The Gracenote vocalist also reflected on the significance of the moment, sharing a touching backstory behind the song "Respeto," which played during the proposal.
"I wrote 'Respeto' way back 2012 not knowing for whom or about whom I was really singing. Napanaginipan ko lang isang tao na walang mukha at sinulat ko 'yung pinaramdam niya sa 'kin," she shared. "Last night biglang nag make sense lahat. Nakakasabog ng utak at puso wala akong masabi. What did i do to deserve a love like this?"
Adding to the magic, Eunice revealed that the proposal took place on her birthday, which made it an even more unforgettable milestone.
Meanwhile, Anjo penned a simple yet heartfelt message to his now fiancée.
"It's true. Someday, someone will love and accept you for who you are. If that person comes, don't let go. Found mine," he wrote.
