Anne Curtis has announced the passing of her father, James Curtis‑Smith.
In an Instagram post, the actress and It's Showtime host shared a series of photos honoring her dad, whom she described as “a true patriarch in every sense.”
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of our father, James E. Curtis‑Smith. A true patriarch in every sense, he shaped us with strength, resilience, and a wit that will forever echo in our family.
He was deeply loved, endlessly admired, and will live in our hearts always. We will miss him dearly. — The Curtis‑Smith Family,” Anne wrote.
Following her announcement, Anne received an outpouring of condolences from fellow celebrities and personalities, including Karylle, Dra. Vicki Belo, and Diana Zubiri.
Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis‑Smith also reposted her sister's message on her Instagram Story as the family mourns their loss.
