Anne Curtis' mom Carmen and brother Tom slam Rep. Bong Suntay's comments

More family members of It's Showtime host Anne Curtis have spoken up regarding the remarks made by Quezon City 4th District Representative Bong Suntay.
On Facebook, the actress's mother, Carmencita Ojales Curtis-Smith, posted a short but firm message addressed to the public servant.
“Mr. Bong Suntay, you're a sick man, I reckon!! You're foul!!” she wrote.
Carmen also reshared Jasmine Curtis-Smith's earlier statement defending her sister from Rep. Bong Suntay's controversial comments.
Meanwhile, Anne's younger brother, Thomas James Curtis-Smith, also reposted Jasmine's statement and added his own remark.
“Real talk, what do you mean a congressman is publicly flaunting his sick, perverted imagination?” he said.
Rep. Bong Suntay's statement drew public attention after he recounted allegedly seeing Anne Curtis and said he merely imagined what could possibly happen. The remark was made during a hearing of the House Committee on Justice in relation to the third impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Following his statement, San Juan Representative Bel Zamora moved to have the remarks stricken from the record. However, Suntay maintained that there was no sexual connotation and insisted that his statement was not immoral.
Later, in an interview with Balitanghali, Rep. Bong said his remarks were taken out of context but apologized to those who were hurt.
“That analogy, the statement was not meant to be malicious, but if it was taken out of context, if it hurt or nakasakit ito ng sensitivities, especially ni Miss Anne Curtis, tayo ay nag-a-apologize diyan, at siyempre, sa mga kababaihan in general,” he said. “As I've mentioned, it was not intended to be a malicious statement; it was just an analogy that I intended to drive a point, at nirerespetohan natin, siyempre, ang kababaihan,” he added.
