Vingo Regino of the April Boys shared the sad news about the passing of his brother Jimmy Regino
In a short video he uploaded on Facebook two days after Christmas, Vingo was visibly heartbroken about what had happened to his brother.
Vingo told his followers, “Lahat po ng fans ng April Boys, ibinabalita ko lang po sa inyo na pumanaw na po 'yung kapatid kong si Jimmy.”
"Kahapon pa ako umiiyak, kahapon pa ako na malungkot na malungkot. Hindi ko malaman kung ano 'yung nararamdaman ko ngayon. “
He then revealed that Jimmy has been in the hospital for a long-time before his death.
“Para bang hinihintay na lang niya na magkita kami kahapon. Matagal na siya sa ospital, pero parang hinihintay niya na lang na magkita kami.
“Hindi na natin maririnig 'yung boses niya. Ang hirap ng mawalan ng mahal mon a kapatid. 'Yung pinagsamahan po namin naalala ko hanggang ngayon.”
Last 2023, Vingo and Jimmy collaborated with April Boy's son, JC Regino, for his single under GMA Music titled 'Idolo.'
In November 2020, when Vingo's other brother, the OPM icon April Boy Regino, died at the age of 51.
