Arron Villaflor breaks silence on alleged private video: 'No person deserves this'

After his name trended on social media recently, actor and Tarlac second district Board Member Arron Villaflor has finally addressed the rumors regarding the circulating intimate video allegedly featuring him.
On his Instagram, Arron released an official statement asserting that the distribution of private and intimate content is a clear violation of an individual's privacy.
“I am formally addressing the unauthorized recording and illegal distribution of private video materials that have been circulating online in recent days,” Aaron wrote in his statement.
The actor also noted that his February 27 statement, where he dismissed the rumors as scenes from his past projects in the adult streaming site, VMX, was made before the “coordinated release” of the actual private footage.
He stated that the coordinated distribution of the private footage is a “serious criminal matter.”
“My previous statement dated February 27 referred only to old film clips taken from past projects. However, the recent coordinated release of alleged private footage is a serious criminal matter,” he wrote.
Arron also cited the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, stating that the unauthorized recording and distribution of intimate content is a clear violation of Philippine law.
“The unauthorized recording and distribution of private and intimate content is a clear violation of Republic Act No. 9995 and other laws that protect individuals from digital abuse and violations of privacy,” cited Arron.
Drawing from his roles as a private citizen and a public official, he condemned the “weaponization of private content. ”
“As both a citizen and a public servant, I strongly condemn the weaponization of private content and all forms of digital violence. No person deserves to have their dignity violated in this way,” Aaron expressed.
Arron also shared that the incident is now under formal investigation by the authorities and stated that he will refrain from speaking further on the matter to give way to the legal process.
“The matter has now been formally referred to the authorities for proper investigation. Out of respect for the legal process, I will refrain from making further comments while the investigation is ongoing,” Arron wrote.
Arron is one of the celebrities who addressed the issue of private intimate videos spreading online, joining others such as Gil Cuerva, Nikko Natividad, Ron Angeles, and Nico Locco.
