ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo officially begins military service

ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo has officially said goodbye as he begins his mandatory military service, and fans are already counting down the days until his return.
According to his agency, Fantagio, the South Korean singer and actor will begin his military service on July 28. He will be serving in the Army Military Band.
"Cha Eun-woo applied to join the Army Military Band and received a final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration today. He will enter the training center on July 28 and undergo basic military training before fulfilling his duty in the Army Military Band," the agency stated.
Before enlisting, Eun-woo took to Instagram to share photos of his new clean buzz cut.
In the comments section, fans already said their goodbyes and assured the Korean star that they will patiently wait for his return.
Eun-woo is now the second ASTRO member to fulfill his mandatory service, following MJ, who completed his military duty in 2023.
Aside from his K-pop success, Eun-woo is also recognized for his roles in popular K-dramas, including True Beauty, Gangnam Beauty, and A Good Day to Be a Dog.
