Barbie Forteza and David Licauco aren't just partners onscreen but also partners in face care.
The country's hottest celebrity love team of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, who rose to fame because of their undeniable chemistry in the fan-favorite GMA period drama 'Maria Clara at Ibarra,' loosely based on Dr. Jose Rizal's novels 'Noli Me Tangere' and 'El Filibusterismo,' have been chosen as the newest brand ambassadors of local skin care and personal care solutions brand Kemans.
Last Saturday, August 12, Barbie and David, collectively and fondly referred to by their fans as "BarDa," attended a contract signing ceremony to officially introduce them as the new faces of the skincare brand that took place at Cafe Ysabel in San Juan City.
Present during the signing are Kemans and The Icon Clinic founder CEO Dr. Eric Yapjuangco, his wife COO Vina Yapjuangco, General Manager Lerma Sta. Cruz, Sparkle GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Jan Navarro, and Sparkle GMA Artist Center Sales Manager Renze Banawa.
According to Dr. Yapjuangco, Barbie and David's flawless skin and undeniable charisma make them the perfect endorsers for the brand's face care line which includes facial serums, beauty bar, sunblocks, exfoliating toner, overnight glow cream, and an advanced beauty set.
"We're super excited, super kilig to get the BarDa team as partners of Kemans. Siyempre, alam naman natin na their partnership will gonna have a massive effect for our marketing," the medical professional said.
Besides BarDa's new exciting endorsement deal, Dr. Yapjuangco made a reminder about the importance of not neglecting face care in everyone's daily routine.
He said, "Since we live in a tropical country, even in other counties, you have to take care of yourselves so you have to start with your face. Siyempre, lahat tayo haharap sa tao. Dapat it starts with serums so they will help you nourish, hydrate, and revitalize your skin, and after that, you need your sunblock also. In this way, you can prevent premature aging."
