Barbie Forteza leads co-stars at 'Saving Cherry' premiere night

“I feel so attacked! Charot!”
This was the reaction of Barbie Forteza after watching the new film she stars in, 'Saving Cherry,' during its premiere night yesterday, September 1.
The comedy-drama film by Ivan Payawal under Regal Entertainment was well-received by moviegoers.
For Barbie, 'Saving Cherry' is “the most freeing film I've ever done. Ito ang nakapagpalaya-sa-akin tipo ng proyekto.”
She further described the movie, “What you're about to watch, what you're about to see, grabe riot!
“Sa tingin ko, ang biggest takeaway sa pelikulang ito ay kung gaano kalaki ang halaga ng mga kaibigan sa iyong healing journey. At kung gaano ka wild at inspiring ang aming pelikula, at siyempre, punung-puno ng katatawanan.”
Director Ivan, meanwhile, assured moviegoers who are going to the cinema to watch 'Saving Cherry' will be worth it.
“Nae-excite po ako na mabigyan kayo ng experience na mapanood ito pelikula sa big screen, kung saan dapat napapanood ang pelikula. Alam kong mahirap ang buhay ngayon, pero nangangako po ako na bawat perang gagastusin sa pelikulang ito ay worth it po.”
Barbie's co-stars in the film who played her friends are Mikee Quinto, Mika Salamanca, AC Bonifacio, and Sassa Gurl.
Also featured in the film are Khalil Ramos, Kokoy de Santos, Monina Lawrence, and Than Perez.
