After much online buzz, content creator Bea Borres is finally setting the record straight about her breakup with ex-boyfriend Meray Yamada.
The first-time mom revealed what happened between her and Meray in an interview with Toni Gonzaga on ToniTalks.
Bea shared that when she found out she was pregnant, her best friend, Andrea Brillantes, was the one who told her ex about the news.
"Syempre, nagulat siya kasi hindi po kasi namin talaga ine-expect e," she said about her ex's reaction to her pregnancy.
According to Bea, they had only been together for a month when they discovered she was pregnant, so they were unsure how to handle the situation.
Bea also admitted that at the time of the discovery, their relationship was already "kind of rocky."
She revealed that things became rocky because neither of them was ready for such a big responsibility.
"Parang na-pressure siya, na-pressure na rin ako. I expected too much from him na mag-step up siya agad agad and siya parang pina-process niya pa lang," she said.
Still, Bea clarified that she understands her ex and holds no grudges.
“Wala naman pong mali doon kasi we all take things differently naman e kaya hindi ko 'yun ikinakagalit sa kaniya,” she explained.
Bea revealed that they broke up before she publicly announced her pregnancy.
"I just couldn't feel his presence. Pero hindi po ako perfect ha, I said I expected too much," she added.
She added that their split stemmed from miscommunication and the fact that they had only been together for a month before finding out about the baby, which meant they had not built a strong foundation in their relationship.
Previously, Bea announced her pregnancy on her YouTube channel, where she featured the emotional reactions of her friends. In her latest vlog, she revealed her baby's gender, announcing that she is having a girl.
