The Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) has released the list of nominees for all the categories of their annual FAMAS Awards, yesterday, August 2.
The FAMAS Awards continues to be one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies in the Philippine entertainment industry.
It is made up of award-winning writers and movie columnists who banded together to recognize various achievements in Philippine cinema.
One of the most sought-after awards is Best Picture which has five nominees this year. Vying for Best Picture are 'Family Matters,' 'Blue Room,' 'Leonor Will Never Die,' 'La Traidora,' and 'Deleter.'
The much awaited awards night of the 2023 FAMAS Awards will be held on August 13 at the Manila Hotel.
