Global K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK turned fashion's biggest night into their own runway as all four members graced the red carpet of the 2026 Met Gala for the first time together.
Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, this year's Met Gala carried the theme “Fashion Is Art,” with the stars arriving in dramatic couture looks inspired by sculpture, painting, and fantasy.
Jisoo made her long-awaited Met Gala debut in a custom Dior ensemble featuring shimmering embroidery and floral detailing, paired with Cartier jewelry. Fashion outlets noted that her look perfectly captured the night's artistic dress code.
Jennie returned to the Met Gala in a blue Chanel look with over 15,000 sequins, designed by Matthieu Blazy, continuing her long-running relationship with the luxury fashion house.
Lisa once again delivered one of the evening's boldest fashion moments in a surreal custom Robert Wun creation featuring sculptural arm-like details and sparkling embellishments. She also served as part of the gala's hosting committee this year.
Meanwhile, Rosé continued her Met Gala streak with Anthony Vaccarello creation, complete with a daring thigh-high slit, further cementing her reputation as one of K-pop's biggest fashion icons.
Fashion media and fans online quickly celebrated the historic moment, with many pointing out that 2026 marked the first time all four BLACKPINK members attended the Met Gala simultaneously.
Rosé was the first member to walk the iconic Met steps, debuting in 2021 in Saint Laurent before returning again in 2025 in another look from the luxury house. Jennie followed in 2023 for the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” theme, wearing vintage Chanel as one of the brand's ambassadors. She later returned in 2024 in Alaïa and once again represented Chanel in 2025.
Lisa, meanwhile, made her Met Gala debut in 2025 wearing Louis Vuitton.
For BLACKPINK fans, also known as BLINKS, the 2026 Met Gala marked a historic moment as the four global stars reunite on the prestigious red carpet.
