Our multi-talented comedians and actors of GMA-7's iconic comedy programs dominate the list of nominees for the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) for the 37th Star Awards for Television, which is slated to happen on August 24.
Sparkle comedian Betong Sumaya bagged a nomination for Best Comedy Actor category for his performance in the Pambansang comedy show 'Bubble Gang.'
On Facebook, he expressed his gratitude for the nomination. He wrote, “To GOD always be the glory Amazing thanks StarAwards Pmpc for the recognition na manominate for "Best Comedy Actor" para sa Bubble Gang First time ko pong manominate sa category na ito ️ Hindi ko talaga ito inexpect pero isang malaking karangalan po ito Ty din sa aking Sparkle Family.”
Betong will be competing with his co-stars Michael V. and Paolo Contis in the same category.
