Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo celebrated his 26th birthday on February 16.
The champion gymnast chose to hold a simple celebration in a church in Pampanga.
Carlos brought a simple meal and gave some gift bags to a group of children.
He also received a blessing from the parish priest.
"Salamat Lord sa panibagong taon ng buhay, isa na namang biyaya na buong puso ko pong tinatanggap.
"Lubos din po akong nagpapasalamat Fr. Jowel sa inyong mainit na pag tanggap at mapagpalang pagbabasbas po sa amin. Maraming salamat po ulit sa Panginoon sa pagkakaloob Niya sa amin ng blessings at pagkakataon na mag bahagi ng munting tulong at saya sa inyong banal na simbahan. Lahat ng tagumpay, lakas, at biyayang natatamo ko, ibinabalik ko po sa IYO ang lahat ng papuri at pasasalamat
"All glory to You, Lord. Isa na namang taon para mangarap, magsikap, at matuto," he wrote on Instagram as he shared a few photos from the celebration.

With him is his girlfriend Chloe San Jose.
Carlos's brother and fellow gymnast Eldrew Yulo also came to support him.
Carlos wanted to share the blessing he received with other people.
He also thanked Fr. Jowel and the parish who welcomed them warmly.
The kids were happy to see Carlos.
Aside from the meal, Carlos also brought gift bags for the children.
Carlos continues to be an inspiration to the youth.
