It's beginning to look more like electric is the way to go when it comes to cars, as more and more celebrities are making the switch to either hybrid or electric vehicles when it comes to their car purchases.
Just recently, the My Father's Wife actor Jak Roberto uploaded an Instagram Reel of him at the groundbreaking of an electric car dealership, while also revealing the purchase of his own electric vehicle.
Other celebrities like Vice Ganda and Sam Milby have also made the switch to electric cars as well, with Vice and Sam both owning vehicles from Elon Musk's Tesla brand.
It's no surprise that celebrities are making the change, as a Ford study conducted last year revealed that 44 percent of Filipinos are seriously considering the purchase of an electric vehicle within this year. The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines has also predicted that the number of electric vehicles in the Philippines will increase to 6.6 million by 2030.

Jak Roberto is the latest celebrity to make the switch to electric vehicles, showing off the addition on his Instagram account. He was also in attendance at the groundbreaking of an electric car dealership in Nueva Ecija.
It's Showtime host Vice Ganda purchased a Tesla Cybertruck last year, with the car's price tag thought to be anywhere from PhP17 to PhP18 million depending on the dealership.
Sam Milby gifted himself a Tesla electric vehicle for his 41st birthday. In the post on the Cornerstone Entertainment Facebook page, Sam extolled the virtues of the car and shared his surprise at the number of charging stations available in the Philippines.
