Celebrities mourn the death of showbiz pillar Ethel Ramos

The Philippine local entertainment industry is mourning the passing of the “Dean of Entertainment Writers” Ethel Ramos who died last Sunday September 10. She was 87.
Her niece Farah Ramos announced the death of Manay Ethel on Facebook.
She posted, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dearest Tita Ethel Ramos today, September 10 , 5:38 p.m. She was 87.
“The family requests for prayers at this time of great sorrow and grief…. Godspeed, Dean.
“We love you. You will be sorely missed.”

In a separate post of Farah, the remains of Dean Ethel will be cremated on Thursday, September 14 at 12 noon.
Aside from being a veteran entertainment columnist, Ramos is also known as a former talent manager of popular actors Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin.
On his Instagram post, Aga paid tribute to Manay Ethel, expressing how grateful he is for everything that she has done for him.
The TV-movie actor wrote, “I am forever grateful to you and what you've done for me. We've talked about death so many times that we both know we are ready. Lahat naman tayo dadating diyan. So much more to say but I'll just leave it at this. Mahal ka naming lahat na tinulungan at minahal mo. Habambuhay ka sa puso ko. Pls pray for us na naiiwan pa dito. Rest in eternal peace dearest tita Ethel. I love you very much.”
Meanwhile, on his show 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,' the King of Talk talked about the memories left behind by Manay Ethel, “She will always have my love and I will always remember her fondness and love.”
