It seems that May has become a month of mourning after actor and director Ricky Davao passed away on May 2, weeks after Asia's Queen of Song Pilita Corrales and Superstar Nora Aunor passed away.
Recently, singer-songwriter Rico Blanco is also in mourning after the passing of his beloved younger brother, King Blanco on May 14. In January 2025, Rico revealed that his brother had been diagnosed with advanced squamous cell carcinoma, a type of sinus cancer.
