Pumanaw na sa edad na 91 ang tinaguriang Queen of Philippine Cinema na si Gloria Romero noong January. Inilahad ni Widows' War actress Lovely Rivero ang malungkot na balita sa kaniyang social media post.

Isa si Gloria sa mga tinitingala at nirerespetong aktres sa Pilipinas. Sa mahigit 60 taon, iba't ibang karakter ang nagampanan ng beteranong aktres sa TV at pelikula. Kaya naman marami ang siguradong makaka-miss sa aktres, kabilang na ang mga nakatrabaho niya sa industriya.

Pebrero nang pumanaw ang comedienne-actress na si Matutina, o Evelyn Bontogon-Guerrero sa totoong buhay, dahil sa Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease. Binawian siya ng buhay sa edad na 78.

Napanood si Matutina noon sa sitcom series na "John en Marsha," na pinagbidahan noon nina Comedy King Dophy, Nida Blanca, at Diamond Star na si Maricel Soriano. Sa katunayan, isa sa mga programang huling lumabas si Matutina ay sa vlog mismo ng huli.

Pumanaw na rin ang beteranang aktres na si Delia Razon, o Lucy May G. Reyes sa edad na 94 noong March 15. Kinumopirma ito ng kaniyang apo at Kapuso star na si Carla Abellana sa isang Instagram post.

Sa hiwalay na post ni Carla, inilarawan niya ang kaniyang lola bilang "The strongest, bravest, fiercest and most beautiful." Kalakip ng kaniyang post ang ilang litrato ni Delia noong kabataan pa nito, hanggang sa bago ang huling sandali ng beteranang aktres.

Ikinagulat ng marami ang pagpanaw ng Asia's Queen of Songs na si Pilita Corrales nitong April 12, na inanunsyo ng kaniyang apo na si Janine Gutierrez. "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mami and mamita, Pilita Corrales," caption ni Janine sa kaniyang post.

Sa post ni Janine, humiling siya ng mga panalangin para sa kanilang Mamita sa pagdiriwang nila ng beautiful life ni Pilita. "Pilita touched the lives of many, not only with her songs but also with her kindness and generosity. She will be remembered for her contributions to the entertainment industry, but most of all for her love of life and family," sulat ng aktres.

Holy Week naman nang pumanaw si Superstar Nora Aunor nitong April 16, na inanunsyo ng anak niyang si Ian de Leon sa isang social media post. Pumanaw ang naturang National Artist sa edad na 71.

Lunes, April 21, ang huling araw ng burol ni Nora. Ngayong Martes, April 22, ay inilibing na siya sa Libingan ng mga Bayani. Bukod sa kaniyang pamilya, naroon din ang ilang mga kaibigan at nakatrabaho niya sa industriya at fans na sumusuporta sa Superstar hanggang sa huli.

Kinumpirma naman ng kaniyang pamilya ngayong Martes, April 22, ang pagpanaw ni Filipino singer and actor Hajji Alejandro matapos makipaglaban sa stage four colon cancer. Pumanaw ang OPM icon sa edad na 70.

Sa isang panayam noong March, ibinahagi ng girlfriend ni Hajji na si Alynna Velasquez ang tungkol sa paglaban ng OPM icon sa kaniyang sakit. Ani Alynna, "It was just an ordinary day na he had a show sa Vigan kasama 'yung Hitmakers. Parang na-bloat siya and he could not breathe, he could not eat, he could not do anything. So, sinabi ko pa-check up siya. So, when he had a CT scan nalaman na.... He heard it from the doctor and he said that he needed to have an operation, like, ASAP."

Pumanaw si Ricky Davao noong May 2. Ayon sa post ng anak ni Ricky na si Ara, komplikasyon sa sakit na cancer ang naging sanhi ng pagkamatay niya.

Sa loob ng apat na dekada, ibinigay ni Ricky ang buhay niya sa pelikulang pilipino bilang aktor at direktor.

Ginulat din ang marami nang kumalat ang balita noong umaga ng May 27 tungkol sa pagpanaw ng OPM hitmaker na si Freddie Aguilar sa edad na 72.

Sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda episode noong May 27, sinabi ni King of Talk Boy Abunda na kinumpirma sa kaniya ng dating partner ni Ka Freddie na si Josephine Queipo ang pagpanaw ng OPM Hitmaker. Aniya, ang dahilan ng pagpanaw nito ay multiple organ failure.

Malungkot ang pagtatapos ng buwan ng Mayo, matapos kumpirmahin ng mahal sa buhay ni Rodwick Sternberg o mas kilala sa pangalan na Red Sternberg na pumanaw siya sa edad na 50 noong May 27, 2025.

Nakilala si Red sa role niya bilang si Kiko sa sikat na youth-oriented show na 'T.G.I.S.' noong '90s.

Sa Facebook ng asawa ni Red na si Sandy, inilarawan niyang 'difficult time in her life' ang pagpanaw ni Red.

Lahad niya, “It is hard to find the words right now to say that this has been the most difficult time I have ever gone through my whole life. To be greeted “happy birthday” and “sorry for your loss” at the same time three consecutive days of what was supposed to be a celebration full of birthdays.”

Veteran actress Gloria "Loly" Mara passed away at the age of 86. Her family did not give any other details about her passing.

In their Facebook post, Loly's family expressed how heartbroken they were, and how much they missed her. "She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, friend, and so much more to many. She was the strongest, most compassionate, and deeply loving woman we've ever known. Loly had a rare gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and cherished," they said.

Comedian Bayani Casimiro Jr., also known as Prinsipe K from the 'Okay Ka Fairy Ko' TV series and movies, passed away at the age of 57, as announced by his sister, Marilou.

According to Marilous, her brother passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Veteran film and theater actor Victor "Cocoy Laurel" passed away in June 2025, at the age of 72. His niece, Nicole Laurel Asensio, shared the news on Facebook without disclosing the cause of death.

Dancer and noontime show choreographer Anna Feliciano passed away at the age of 65, as shared by her daughter-in-law April Feliciano.

According to reports, Anna passed away after suffering from a heart attack on October 25 at a hospital in San Mateo, Rizal.

The Filipino music industry mourned the loss of Piwee Polintan, the lead vocalist of the band Jeremiah, who passed away on October 28 at the age of 47.
