Celeste Cortesi gets candid about insecurities, addresses split rumors with British BF

Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi sat down with Boy Abunda on Wednesday afternoon, August 19, as she talked about her pregnancy journey and shed light on her rumored breakup with British tech entrepreneur Jonathan Sterling.
The Filipino-Italian beauty announced her pregnancy last April 2026.
With so many changes happening to her body, Celeste admitted on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that it hasn't been easy and she had to deal with her pregnancy insecurities, too.
She told the King of Talk, “It was just a lot, I wouldn't say it is unexpected. We wanted to have a baby, but once you [experience] pregnancy, you're kinda shocked. So, I feel we like kinda entered this chapter wanting to be good parents, you know, take care of the baby. And it came with a lot of changes as well, because again, as I said earlier, there's a lot of hormone changes.
“And I also came up with so many insecurities as well… Everything came out! So, even you know seeing my body changing, it hasn't been easy. So definitely I was looking for a lot of support and luckily Johnny also supported me in making me feel like I'm still like beautiful.”
Celeste also addressed the rumors and chatter circulating back in June 2026 that she parted ways with Jonathan.
She reiterated to Fast Talk that like every normal couple, they also go through ups and downs with their relationship.
“It is just unfortunate that I am a public figure and somehow, something comes out and you know, it's not easy when you're pregnant and you know you are going through a lot privately.”
“And then it becomes so public, but definitely it's just like a normal relationship like everyone else. We do have our ups and downs.”
Tito Boy then clarified to Celeste if she and Jonathan really separated at one point: “Klaro lang, I don't mean to needle, but naghiwalay kayo? Did you separate during this time?”
The celebrity mom replied, “I mean we had moments where like we have to kinda make space or separate. You know, there's more in the show that I also can't say everything now. But, again, it's just about recognizing that there's always ups and downs. As long as we're always able to be honest with each other and just talk about it between family, I think that is the most important thing.”
