Known for her wit and determination, former TV personality Cesca Litton just revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.

On Instagram, Cesca shared a short clip featuring photos from last year, capturing her cancer journey and moments with her family and friends.

"2024 had one last surprise for me. Breast cancer," she began.

Cesca shared, "December was a whirlwind of tests and consultations, until the biopsy results confirmed the big C. I don't think I ever really gave myself time to process, I just shifted into “act now, feel later” mode. Mastectomy/reconstruction done in January. Chemo started in March."

The TV personality revealed she has been "working, trying to keep my life and routine as normal as possible."

At first, she wanted to keep her cancer journey private, but she said there was no point in hiding it anymore once her hair started falling out.

"That pixie cut lasted 2 1/2 weeks until my hair started falling out in clumps. I decided to just shave it off, I have a wig ready for work purposes, and a growing collection of scarves and turbans," she shared.

After opening up about her journey last year, she also thanked her support system for their unwavering presence.

"My circles have made their presence felt in so many ways and the support has been overwhelming. I wish I could list it all down, but my original caption was way too long," she expressed.

"Thank you for showing me I don't have to go through this alone. Thank you for praying so hard for me that I can actually feel myself being held up by prayers. Thank you to the people who have given me grace and time to do what I need to do. Thank you to the ones who respected me enough to leave this as my story to tell, because my story is far from over."

She added, "I've got things to do, places to see, mountains to climb, and love to give back. God is good. Always."

At the end of her lengthy message, she reminded people that "early detection is key" as life is unpredictable. She also encouraged people to "stay on top of their check-ups."

In the comments section, fans and celebrity friends, including Laureen Uy, Bianca Gonzalez, Jackie Forster, Rica Peralejo, and Chesca Garcia, praised her strength and offered their prayers.
