Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista has etched a defining chapter in his musical journey through a special collaboration close to his heart.

The Kapuso singer has proudly released his revival of South Border's classic "Rainbow" under his new record label, Sony Music Entertainment.

He formally announced this special milestone in his career in an exclusive media preview held on Wednesday, July 30, at the Bay Ballroom of TRYP by Wyndham Mall of Asia Manila in Pasay City.

The soulful R&B ballad features the popular Indonesian artist, Raisa, with whom he shared the stage in the 13-city ASEAN concert in Japan as fellow performers, marking a new and exciting era for both Southeast Asian music icons.

"'Rainbow' is one of those songs that's always stayed with me," Christian said. "It resonates deeply, not just in the Philippines but also in Indonesia. Working on it with Raisa gave it new energy and meaning, and it felt right to share it in this way now."

With Christian's long-standing prominence in Southeast Asia, particularly in the Philippines and Indonesia, Raisa said the Filipino singer has been a musical inspiration since her youth.

"Christian is already so big in Indonesia--I grew up listening to him," the Indonesian singer-songwriter said. "He's such a great balladeer and vocalist. We finally got to spend time together on that Japan tour. What I admire most is his musicality and his beautiful personality. When the idea to collaborate came up, of course, I said yes."

As for what's next, Christian revealed that he and Raisa plan to have joint performances and work on a music video.

"This isn't the end; it's a continuation of a musical bridge between the Philippines and indonesia. We hope to open more doors for future collaborations," the All-Out Sundays and The Clash star declared.

"Rainbow" is now available on all major streaming platforms worldwide.
