Dennis Trillo looks back on his 23-year career on the cover of men's lifestyle magazine

Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo is the cover star of the May 2023 issue of men's lifestyle magazine Esquire Philippines.
In the interview for the magazine, Dennis looked back at the beginnings of his 23-year career.
According to the actor, he did not expect to end up in showbiz.
“I didn't have a solid dream," Dennis tells Esquire.
"I was too happy-go-lucky when I was young. But I knew that something would happen in my life. I just didn't know what it was. I've been feeling for a long time that I have a purpose. I just didn't know it would be in show business," he added.
Still, he clinched a spot on ABS-CBN's Star Circle Batch 10 and went on to play challenging roles such as a hired assassin in 'On the Job: The Missing 8,' a transgender spy in World War II film 'Aishite Imasu 1941' and most recently, Crisostomo Ibarra in the hit historical portal fantasy 'Maria Clara at Ibarra.'
