Heart Evangelista made a surprising revelation in her Instagram Live video on Thursday, April 4.
During the Q&A, a fan asked if she's related to Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria which she replied "yes."
Explaining their connection, Heart shared, "Jodi Sta Maria is my cousin from my mother's side. I love Jodi Sta Maria. She's super nice and one of the genuine ones in show business."
The Kapuso star added, "I didn't even know she's my cousin 'til a few years of show business. She's my cousin, second cousin."
Talking to her international followers, Heart compared Jodi to Israeli-born American actress, Natalie Portman.
She said, “Jodi is a great actress. She's from the Philippines and she's like Natalie Portman exactly. Super beautiful, [she has] super expressive eyes. I love her."
