Dina Bonnevie on viral statement about celebrities and plastic surgery: 'It's true'

Dina Bonnevie stands by her statement about celebrities and plastic surgery, which recently went viral.
In a viral post, Dina was quoted saying "Kaya minsan 'pag tiningnan mo, pare-pareho na 'yung mukha nila, eh. Parang iisa lang ba ang doctor nito? Nakakalito magkamukha nga sila.”
“It's true!” the seasoned actress-TV host told entertainment media, including GMANetwork.com, at a recent pocket interview for her upcoming online talk show titled House of D.
She continued, “Tingnan mo yung mga artistang bata, mga bata pa lang operada na, di ba? 'Tapos, kapag may bumati sa akin, 'Di ba, ikaw yung bumati sa akin kanina?' Sabi sa akin ni Pinky [Amador], 'Hindi, mars, iba yun.' Sabi ko, 'Bakit kasi pare-pareho ang mga mukha nila?'
“Baka naman pare-pareho ang makeup artist o pare-pareho yung doktor. You'll be surprised naman kasi pare-pareho sila ng cheekbones, pare-pareho sila ng ilong, pare-pareho ng chin augmentation.”
Dina, still radiant in her 60s, said beauty enhancements weren't popular in their time.
“Sabi ko, bakit noong panahon namin either maganda ka, artista ka; or pinabili ka ng suka, artista ka, komedyante ka. E ngayon, kahit ubod ka ng shongs, puwede ka na.
“Ano ba ang nauuso ngayon? The before and after. Ayaw ko namang malagay sa before and after. Tingnan mo yung before and after ko, 'yun pa rin,” she proudly said.
She went on to say that she and her contemporaries each had their unique beauty.
“Iba naman yung mukha ni Lorna [Tolentino] sa akin, iba naman ang mukha ni Snooky [Serna], ni Maricel [Soriano]. Kaya nga sabi ko, sa era namin, hindi uso 'yun. But now, tingnan mo, manood ka ng TV, 'Parang ito ba si ganyan? Di ba, 'yan yung bida ng ganyan?' 'Tapos, sasabihin ng PA (personal assistant) ko, 'Hindi, iba yun.' 'Hindi, di ba, 'yan yung bida ng ganyan? Bakit pareho yung mukha?' Kasi nga, pareho yung doktor.”
While the Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap actress stands firm on her viral statement, she clarified that she never mentioned any name.
“People are putting words into my mouth. Wala akong binanggit na pangalan!” she stated.
In the said the viral post, photos of Jane de Leon and Alexa Miro were used to prove that Dina's statement was true.
But she reiterated, “I didn't name names. Kasi, sa totoo lang, I've never met Jane de Leon in person. I've never met Alexa Miro in person. I've never met them. That's putting words into my mouth.”
In the end, the press teased her to discuss about cosmetic enhancement on House of D.
She replied in jest, “Siguro, kapag nagkaroon kami ng episode about plastic surgery.”
