It has been several months since the passing of Meteor Garden star Barbie Hsu, yet her memory continues to resonate deeply with fans and loved ones.
While many have paid tribute and expressed their grief online, recent activities have brought renewed attention to Barbie's husband, DJ Koo.
According to international reports (such as from SBS Star), DJ Koo has been visiting Barbie's grave daily at the Rose Garden in Jinbaoshan, New Taipei City. Witness accounts describe him mourning in solitude and his consistent visits have drawn emotional responses from the public.
On July 27, a Taiwanese netizen posted a photo showing DJ Koo sitting alone in the cemetery. "I went to Jinbaoshan to pay respects to Barbie Hsu with flowers and ran into Mr. DJ Koo," the individual wrote in Taiwanese. "When we approached, he politely thanked us. Even from his back, a deep sadness could be felt."
Reports further indicate that DJ Koo currently seeks psychological support with the help of close friends. He has also expressed plans to remain in Taiwan, where his late wife's family resides, rather than return to South Korea.
Barbie's mother has publicly shared concern for his well-being, noting the visible toll her daughter's passing has had on him.
Last February, Barbie's loss was announced by her younger sister and Taiwanese entertainer Dee Hsu.
The Meteor Garden star passed away due to pneumonia from influenza complications, which sparked conversations online about her past health battles.
