“So… I just found out I have thyroid cancer. ” the radio DJ began her heartfelt post. While the news might have sent shockwaves to her followers, Nicole's tone was calm and optimistic.
“But before you panic,” she reassured, “ayon sa mga eksperto, thyroid cancer is often called the 'friendliest' cancer. And that's good, because I've already been through worse.”
Nicole, known for her wit, warmth, and positivity on air, opened up about the hardships she's previously faced, including experiences that have shaped her strength and resilience.
“I've faced battles that broke me, seasons that nearly crushed me,” she reflected. “But here I am still standing, still smiling, still kumikinang. :) I've survived storms that could've drowned me and this is just another wave I know I can ride, with God beside me.”
In a powerful show of faith, she expressed her trust in God's greater plan. “This diagnosis wasn't part of my plan, but it's part of God's. And I know He's walked with me through deeper valleys before, so I trust He'll walk me through this too.”

“At ang sakit at ang saklap sa katotohanan na ang sabi, ako daw po ay merong thyroid cancer,” she began, her voice quivering yet composed. “Una, anak. Sunod, asawa. Ngayon, ako na.”
Nicole shared that she received the diagnosis just two weeks prior, following a biopsy she had initially shrugged off with laughter. The results, however, delivered a sobering reality: she had cancer.
“So I'm set for surgery in July,” she said, explaining the next medical steps. “Normally, dahil nga friendly siya, tatanggalin lang naman yung thyroid. So, full thyroidectomy ang kailangan. It solves the problem.”
