Donnalyn Bartolome and JM de Guzman shocked everyone when they revealed they are in a relationship.
On June 28, Donnalyn shared a lengthy post detailing her dating journey with the actor.
She wrote on Instagram, "When I met Juan Miguel on February 16, 2022 he made me pinky promise to do a fun collab with him...tawang tawa ako kasi wala akong maalalang lalaki na kilala kong nakikipag-pinky promise.
Donnalyn added, "During our exclusively dating phase, we assured each other of promise rings, linked to the first promise we'd made to each other--a pinky kind for when we're finally ready to be officially in a relationship.
She shared that she and JM went to Japan together to let her parents know they are dating.
"So we flew to the land of the rising sun to ask for my parents' acceptance… that's why it took so long for us to share… that on June 22nd 2023…"
A year later, Donnalyn and JM finally went public with their relationship.
