World of Wonder and Drag Race Philippines announced the death of drag artist, Misua at the age of 27.
Misua was set to appear in the fourth season of Drag Race Philippines.
The Instagram account of World of Wonder and Drag Race Philippines shared the news in a collaboration post. The post confirms that Misua died in her sleep on April 2.

"We are heartbroken to share that Misua, a talented Queen set to appear on season four of Drag Race Philippines passed away in her sleep the morning of April 2. She brought light, artistry, and joy to those around her, and she will be deeply missed."
The post also mentioned that they have decided to pause production.
"We have paused production to care for and support our cast and crew during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who loved her."
At the end of World of Wonder and Drag Race Philippines' post, Misua's familyrequested privacy during this difficult time.
"We are in contact with her family who have asked for privacy during this hard time."
