Ellen Adarna treated her followers to a peek at a recent beach trip with her children, Elias and Liana. They were joined by her former partner and Elias's father, John Lloyd Cruz, and his girlfriend, artist Isabel Santos.
Through a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, Ellen shared photos from their stay at Amanpulo, a luxury private island resort located in Palawan.
In the clips and snapshots, the children could be seen making the most of the island's white-sand shores while also spotting wildlife, including komodo dragons and sea creatures such as pawikans (sea turtles) and pompano fish.
The actress also shared a sunset selfie, playfully noting that Isabel had taken over babysitting duties at that moment. “Naka Selfie kasi naka sub si @isabelreyessantos,” Ellen wrote.
Another story showed a sweet moment between John Lloyd and Elias, with the actor filming his son as he tried to catch a crab.
“Ang hirap daw kumuha ng crabs,” John Lloyd said while laughing in the background.
He added playfully, “Give it to your Mama." Elias then walked over to Ellen, proudly showing her the crab he had caught.
In her previous Instagram Stories from February 20, Ellen Adarna detailed her co-parenting setting with John Lloyd and how he offered to help her when she was moving houses after separating from her estranged husband Derek Ramsay.
“In fairness talaga kay JL, wala akong masabi. Hindi na kailangan pagsabihan. And huwag niyo na itong gawing chismis ha kasi JL and I are better off as co-parents, as in super okay kami sa co-parenting namin.
"Chika lang. So when he found out that we moved houses, si Elias, anak niya, kasama. You know what, he offered like, 'Len, kung ano man kailangan niyo, just let me know. Baka makatulong kami.' Di ba? Nagkusa. So there. Iba talaga ang taong ganyan, yung (may) kusa,” she said.
Ellen and John Lloyd Cruz share a son, Elias, from their past relationship. The actress also has a daughter, Liana, with her husband Derek Ramsay.
John Lloyd is currently in a relationship with artist Isabel Reyes Santos.
