F-IV's Jang Hae-young passes away at 45

Fans mourn for the loss of F-IV member Jang Hae-young, who passed away at the age of 45.
According to a report by Soompi, the news was confirmed by his co-member Kim Hyun-soo.
"Jang Hae-young passed away on October 6 after battling cancer," Kim Hyun-soo said in a phone call with Yonhap News.
Hyun-soo later expressed his grief through a heartfelt tribute on social media.
"I was able to be a singer because of you. I could have been a composer. Say thank you because I don't think I've ever done it right. Thank you, Jang Hae-young," he wrote.
Jang Hae-young debuted in 2002 as a member of the boy band F-IV, alongside Seo Ji-won, Woo Jeong-tae, and Kim Hyun-soo. The group gained attention for their soulful and heart-fluttering songs, including "GIRL," "RING," "I'M SORRY," and "SHADOW DANCE."
Their success led them to win Best New Artist at the 2003 KMTV Korean Music Awards. In 2016, F-IV reunited for a memorable appearance on JTBC's Sugar Man.
Following his idol career, Jang Hae-young later pursued a solo path to share his passion for music with fans.
