For the second time, the people united in another anti-corruption protest on Sunday, November 30.
Two rallies were held: the "Baha sa Luneta: Aksyon na Laban sa Korapsyon" at Rizal Park in Manila, and the "Trillion Peso March" held at the EDSA People Power Monument.
Several famous showbiz personalities joined the call for accountability and justice regarding the issue of corruption stemming from the country's flood control projects.
Lending her voice to the movement, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray took the stage at the anti-corruption rally to challenge the government, specifically calling for immediate action on corruption issues.
“We demand action! To the Ombudsman, file the cases now! To the senators, suspend the senators implicated! To the Congress, pass the 'Anti-Political Dynasty Bill'. Because power should not be inherited, it should be earned through the service of the people,” she said.
Actor Elijah Canlas joined the protest at the EDSA People Power Monument, actively standing in solidarity with the masses who are fighting to eradicate corruption in the country.
Singer-songwriter Maki attended the rally not just to entertain the crowd, but to firmly stand for justice and accountability, using his presence and platform to support the cause.
At the 'Trillion Peso March,' Ben&Ben performed their collaboration song with SB19, "Kapangyarihan," driving home the strong message of the anti-corruption protests.
Actress-comedienne Pokwang also joined the protest. In an interview with GMA News, she explained the importance of attending the rally: "Sobrang mahalaga po ito, 'di lang para sa sarili ko, 'di lang para sa pamilya ko; kundi para sa lahat po ng future ng henerasyong ito, ng bansang ito. Para sa mga kabataan, sa mga anak ko, sa mga apo, at sa kaapu-apuhan kong darating."
Kapamilya actress Maris Racal was seen at the protest, actively rallying for justice and accountability while also specifically marching under the banner of 'No to Dynasty of Thieves'.
Kakie Pangilinan attended the Trillion Peso March in EDSA alongside her father, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, prominently displaying her stand with a white shirt bearing the message: "No Mercy for the Greedy" in red.
Pipay, a popular content creator, showed strong solidarity with the Filipino people's call for justice against corruption, attending the rally in a white shirt prominently carrying the text: "Ikulong Na Yan Mga Kurakot."
Amiel Sol, rising singer-songwriter, used his musical platform to support the protest by performing "Sa Bawat Sandali," while also standing firm in the collective call for accountability against corruption.
Drag Queen Pura Luka Vega was visible at the protest, rallying for justice while holding a banner demanding: "Kurakot Managot!"
