Former child actor Fredmoore delos Santos is currently in need of assistance after suffering a stroke that left him with difficulty moving and speaking.
In a teaser for the December 20 episode of Wish Ko Lang, Fredmoore's wife, Jennifer, shared the traumatic moment she found him collapsed and unresponsive inside their bathroom.
“Paharap sa toilet nakaluhod siya, 'tapos, 'yung left hand niya nakalubog na sa loob ng bowl. 'Tapos, naka-ganiyan [tingala] siya. Yung dila tsaka mata niya, kulay puti na. Pagpulso ko sa kaniyang ganu'n, wala na siyang pulso,” Jennifer recalled.
Despite his condition, Fredmoore said he still longs to return to the entertainment industry.
“Sobrang nami-miss ko. Mahal na mahal ko ang showbiz,” said Fredmoore, who previously appeared on the popular youth-oriented variety show That's Entertainment.
He also opened up about the pain of coming to terms with his current situation.
“Marami akong pangarap pero wala na akong magagawa kasi baldado na ako eh,” he said.
Amid their challenges, Jennifer continues to remain strong and supportive of her husband.
“Sabi ko sa kaniya, 'Huwag kang malungkot. Kaya natin 'to.' Kahit ano pang mangyari, nandito lang ako sa tabi mo parati. Hindi kita pababayaan,” Jennifer shared.
