K-pop idol Nancy McDonie is the newest addition to the Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
As a child, Nancy was a variety show star. She began her music career when she auditioned for 'Korea's Got Talent' in 2011 as a part of a hip-hop group Cutie Pies.
She later on joined several TV programs and eventually in 2016, she joined a reality survival show called 'Finding Momoland,' where she emerged winning first place.
Later that year Nancy debuted as part of the girl group Momoland. She officially became a K-pop idol, actively promoting with her group while also appearing as a TV show host and actress.
In January 2023, Nancy and the rest of the members of Momoland departed from their agency MLD Entertainment. Following this, Momoland officially disbanded in February 2023.
In April 2024, she signed a contract with GMA Network's Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
