Get to know WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon

K-pop boy group WINNER's leader and vocalist Kang Seung-yoon, known mononymously as Seungyoon or Yoon, has been making waves online after his long-awaited solo comeback. The Korean singer dropped the music video for the title track "아이야 (Iyah)" from his first full-length album "Page" on Monday. March 29. The single gives a trip down memory lane to Seungyoon's musical career starting from his days in the Korean singing competition 'Superstar K2' in 2010 where he won fourth place.
Seungyoon had a solo project in 2013 where he released the track "Wild and Young" from an album of the same name. In 2014, he debuted as the leader of boy group WINNER under YG Entertainment. His current solo album "Page" is his first full-length album in 11 years. The 27-year-old musician personally wrote, composed, and produced all the songs on the album.
He also released a four-part vlog series titled The Prequel, where he looks back on his journey in the music industry.
Aside from performing in a K-pop boy group, he has also appeared in Korean TV series such as 'Kairos' (2020), 'Prison Playbook' (2018), 'High Kick 3' (2012), 'Love For A Thousand More' (2016), 'We Broke Up' (2015), and a cameo in 'The Producers' (2015).
