Gian Magdangal and Lara Maigue are engaged!
The couple shared happy news on Instagram, posting photos of the two of them--along with a snap of Lara proudly showing off her engagement ring.
"She said yes to a lifetime," he wrote in the caption, tagging Lara in the joint post.
The couple received warm congratulations from fellow celebrities including Ogie Alcasid, Rita Daniela, Ana Feleo, Carla Abellana, Rocco Nacino, Ria Atayde, Iya Villania, Carla Guevara Laforteza, Gabby Padilla, Nikki Valdez, Janine Berdin, Tanya Manalang, Sheena Belarmino, Gianna Llanes, Mikkie Volante, Paolo Valenciano, and Nikki Gil.
The two singers were first linked in 2021 after performing together on Magandang Buhay, which eventually led to them dating.
Gian rose to prominence as a member of the former boy band 17:28 and as the runner-up on Philippine Idol. He was previously in a relationship with fellow singer Sheree Bautista, with whom he shares a child.
He has since become a familiar face in the local theater scene, most recently appearing in the Manila production of Come From Away.
Lara s a classically trained vocalist who has explored various musical genres and even ventured into acting.
