Gina Lima's death not from injuries - QCPD

The bruises discovered on the thigh of freelance model and actress Gina Lima were not the cause of her death. This is according to the initial findings of the autopsy conducted by authorities from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Forensic Unit.
Investigators revealed in a medico-legal certification uploaded by the media that Gina had shown signs "heart congestion" and "congested and edematous lungs."
The QCPD is still completing the toxicology and histopathology examinations. These tests are expected to provide clearer insight into the medical factors that may have contributed to Gina's untimely death.
Police officials stated that the investigation remains active while they await the complete forensic report.
