Held on June 12, this year's star-studded gala took on the theme “Fashion + Film,” specifically honoring the profound influence of women in creative storytelling and their pivotal role in shaping Philippine cinema.
Taking to Instagram, the 58th star expressed her deep appreciation for the event's cultural significance.
“Celebrated Independence Day through recollecting how Filipino cinema helped shape our sense of identity, culture, and pride,” Glaiza wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Paired with fashion that honors both heritage and self-expression, it was a beautiful reminder of the many ways Filipino creativity continues to thrive.”
Glaiza also extended her gratitude to MEGA Magazine for putting together a thoughtful event that emphasized the weight of Filipino narratives.
The evening held even deeper personal significance for the actress, who attended the gala alongside her husband, David Rainey.
