GMA Network kicked off its dazzling 75th anniversary with the eco-friendly Kapuso ng Kalikasan fair. In celebration of both World Environment Day and the 15th year of the Kapuso ng Kalikasan initiative, the event highlighted the network's strong advocacy for sustainability and eco-conscious living.
Leading the Kapuso ng Kalikasan fair was none other than GMA Network's Vice President and Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, Angela Javier Cruz. "GMA is the first and only media organization in the Philippines to sign up with the U.N. Global Compact Network Philippines (UNGCNP). Sinu-support natin ang lahat ng mga sustainable activities na kaya nating gawin as a network," she shared.
One of the event's charming highlights was the Community Pan-tree, where registered attendees got to take home free seedlings--encouraging everyone to grow a little green at home!
Carolina Bamboo Garden joined the Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair in full support of GMA Network's advocacy for sustainability and eco-conscious living. At the heart of their showcase was their “Bambusetum” - a thriving gene bank conservation area that is home to 45 varieties of both indigenous and exotic bamboo species found in the Philippines.
Also joining the fair was Flor's Garden, a boutique eco-resort that brought a touch of its enchanting nature charm to the event. Known for its lush gardens, serene bamboo forest, and tranquil riverside views, the resort invited guests to unwind, reconnect with nature, and embrace the beauty of sustainable living.
Bambuhay joined the celebration of sustainability and eco-conscious living with their gorgeous bamboo products on display! More than just eye-catching, these eco-friendly items are both practical for everyday use and kind to the environment--proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
The Department of Agriculture - Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) brought fresh, healthy goodness to the Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair! GMA employees were thrilled to have easy access to farm-fresh eggs, fruits, and other locally sourced products.
Sustainability and eco-conscious living extend even to bath time! At the Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair, The Ecoshift and Ritual PH showcased their natural soaps, shampoos, dishwashing liquids, and bath scrubs--offering eco-friendly alternatives that make everyday routines kinder to the planet.
Nestlé Philippines spread joy and supported GMA Network's environmental advocacy by giving away freebies and serving favorite drinks at the Kapuso ng Kalikasan Fair. Beyond this event, Nestlé is well-known for its ongoing go-green initiatives, actively leading various environmental projects across the Philippines.
For art lovers, Prestige Paper brought joy with their sustainable and beautifully crafted paper products. From sketch pads to notebooks, Prestige Paper brought most of their aesthetic looking products that were aligned to GMA Network's environmental advocacy.
Project Payatas showcased their vibrant, eco-friendly mats and bags at the fair. Known for upcycling textile waste into high-quality, handcrafted products, the business not only helps reduce pollution but also empowers women.
