'Green Bones' donates props to senior citizen PDLs at Manila City Jail

Award-winning film Green Bones does not just spread hope and inspiration on screen as its impact extends through real-life projects.

Recently, the movie's production team wholeheartedly donated its essential used props to Manila City Jail's male dormitory. These included practical items such as bed bunks, tables, chairs, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, eating utensils, and sleeping essentials, which were repurposed for the new Celda Sesenta, to be exclusively used by senior persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

"Celda Sesenta will house 96 elderly PDL and includes: Individual bed bunks, A shared living room and dining area, A nurse station with BJMP nurses and trained PDL aides and Wellness and care programs for seniors," said BJMP Manila City Jail Male Dorm.
