Heeseung launches solo career as EVAN following ENHYPEN departure

Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung is entering a new chapter as he begins his journey as a solo artist.
On Wednesday, April 8, Belift Lab announced his return as a soloist under the name EVAN. According to the label, the 24-year-old singer has also launched a new Instagram account with the username @h_evva_n.
The label also shared a series of new profile photos, describing them as Heeseung's “purest form,” as he donned a plain shirt, jeans, and a chain necklace.
In a statement, the South Korean artist shared that the name EVAN is something he has cherished since childhood and holds many precious memories.
“Through this name, I hope to reach fans with music that fully expresses my most honest and natural self,” he explained.
In March, Belift Lab announced Heeseung's departure from ENHYPEN. He debuted with the group in 2020 and was known as its main vocalist and center.
