A Laugh Story

In celebration of 35 years of laughter and legacy, 'Live A.I.D.S.' reaches its milestone golden edition as the longest-running comedy-musical-variety show, delighting generations of students and comedy enthusiasts since the 1970s. This year, 'Live A.I.D.S.: A Laugh Story' will be held from May 9 to 11, 2025, at the Ignacio B. Jimenez (IBG) - KAL Theater in UP Diliman.

A beloved tradition brought to life by UP Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Komunikasyon (UP SAMASKOM), this iconic production continues to evolve, staying fresh and relevant regardless of the decade or socio-political climate. With its sharp wit, fearless satire, and nonstop hilarity, 'Live A.I.D.S.' remains a crowd favorite--delighting, challenging, and spreading the good vibes audiences keep coming back for.

The UP SAMASKOM held a press conference on March 28, at the UP Diliman CMC TV Studio Center in preparation for the 35th rendition of its variety show 'Live A.I.D.S.'

The panelists include UP SAMASKOM President MJ Karaan, drag queen Ian Jaurigue or Mrs. Tan, newscaster Jervi Wrightson or KaladKaren, and director Kenneth De Leon. Live A.I.D.S., the organization's longest-running comedy-musical, also enlightens the audience with a commentary on Filipino society.
