Hidilyn Diaz fulfills dream to visit Mount Pinatubo with husband

Taking a break from the heavy weights, Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz set out on another thrilling adventure in the Philippines.
The Pinay weightlifter recently shared her visit to Mt. Pinatubo Crater Lake in Botolan, Zambales. Together with her husband, Julius Naranjo, Hidilyn enjoyed the breathtaking scenery while tackling the trail.
"It's a dream come true to finally be here with Julius," she said in an Instagram post.
"I remember when I was assigned at the 710th SPOW (Special Operations Wing of Philippine Air Force), I would always say, 'Someday, I'll visit Mt. Pinatubo, see its beautiful crater, and learn about the 1991 eruption.' Now it finally happened. The ride and hike were fun, and Mt. Pinatubo is truly beautiful."
Hidilyn couldn't help but express gratitude for her unforgettable experience.
