To say that the heat this summer is brutal is an understatement.
The extreme hot weather in the Philippines is not an isolated case. In an article by GMA News Online, it cited a report from the EU's Copernicus Climate Change Service which stated that global heat records were smashed last April 2024. It recorded a 1.58 degrees celsius in temperature, which is above the 1850-1900 pre-industrial average.
Like many Filipinos today, Kapuso celebrities are finding ways to beat the summer heat. Black Rider actor Ruru Madrid may be busy shooting his action-packed scenes, but he always makes sure that his mind and body gets a time off to recuperate.
On the other hand, Prince Carlos, who is part of the summer initiative 'Boys of Summer' of Sparkle GMA Artist Center, traveled to Siargao for a short vacation to enjoy the hot weather.
