Taking to Instagram, he addressed those who were disrespectful toward Deirdre, condemning their malicious rumors and calling for a more compassionate and understanding approach.
Ian's caption on the post reflected his firm stance: "Seriously, let's all just cut the bullshit. People should be honored and respected for their compassion, courage, and integrity--not for the choices they make in the privacy of their bedrooms."
Ian Veneracion went on to express his pride and admiration for his daughter's embodiment of these values, asserting that her choice of partner was her own business.
"Proud of my daughter for embodying these values. Who she loves is her business," he said.
At the end of his message, Ian referred to himself as a "proud daddy," symbolizing his acceptance of his daughter's sexuality.
