Ever since he joined the seventh season of the Philippine television reality talent competition 'StarStruck,' Radson Flores has been making waves on the internet for his charming good looks and personality.
It's also no wonder that he was recently cast as Mark Gordon in the upcoming Kapuso live-action series 'Voltes V: Legacy' -- the handsome 18-year-old rodeo champion with an intriguing personality thanks to his backstory.
As most 'Voltes V' fans would know, Mark was orphaned when he was a young boy because his mother died trying to save him from a pack of wolves. This experience had led him to grow up bitter and aloof but cool under crisis.
In an interview with '24 Oras' reporter Cata Tibayan, Radson said he's eagerly preparing for the most significant role in his life since signing an exclusive contract with GMA Network.
He recalled, “Nung nasa casting po ako, pagkapasok na pagkapasok ko sabi ni Direk [Mark A. Reyes], 'No, no, no! Si Mark ka, si Mark!'
“Sabi ko, 'Oh no!' Kasi 'yung pinagpraktisan ko is si Zardoz, e, 'di nag-memorize ulit ako ng script. Sobrang grateful ako na ako si Mark [Gordon].”
Radson added, “Weekly routine ko po is puro powerlifting at 'di po ako nagka-cardio. Puro low reps pero super bigat po ng weights [ang ginagawa ko].
“'Yung iba ko pa pong training na kailangan kong gawin is fighting and horse riding.”
